A Book about death, New York.

Stars, Birds and Mausoleums.

Puffin and star .

Puffin and moustache.

Grrrrrfalcon (iceland) and star.

Pink and falcon.

Twinned Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa.

Twinned Jephson Mausoleum, Leamington Spa.

This is new work based on my travels to Iceland and Leamington Spa, I realise that these two places are at extremes of the tourist spectrum, but I am engaged with the juxtaposition this creates.

Thanatoses - 1502

"Thanatoses - 1502"
Collage.
This work is on show in New York , at the Emily Harvey Foundation as part of the "Little book about Death" Exhibition. The work forms part of a book of postcard images. To learn more about this show visit www.abookaboutdeath.blogspot.com

I have been a practising artist for the last 15 years. I
studied my MA at Central St. Martins where I became obsessed
with the idea of being able to represent death. My
recent work concerns the personification of death and its
surrounding rituals. I have been working with found
imagery surrounding the sinking of HMS Lusitania where my
Great-Grandfather lost his life.

I would like to thank Anabelle Dover-Eade for the Lusitania image.

New Works
Collaged papers
I have recently started looking at the ideas of surrealism, juxtaposing photographic printed imagery with day-glo papers, creating a friction where the two surfaces meet and overlap.
