Lost In The Post ( or intercepted by C.I.A.)

Prince Charles arrived in the post from USA recently, but his companions The Queen and HRH Princess Diana have mysteriously not arrived. I am worried that they have been intercepted by USA forces and I am now on some bizarre watch list held between C.I.A. and MI6, life is always full of little surprises. Watch this space for up-dates to see if they arrive and are not just on a cruise in the Med.

D.I.A.N.A

These are two new images inspired by my time in New York, I was looking at all things Gold, Times Square, Fanelli's bar and The Empire State Building. I bought a myriad of new stickers as well, and found a few on the street to use. I am really excited by this new work.

New York Queens and Birds

These are some of the ideas I have been working on whilst in New York. I have recently been thinking about birds and Queens and how they are completely unrelated, apart from in my head and their visual aesthetic. You can see the full updates here

New York New York

What a wonderful city it is, I close my eyes and see gold and bright, shiny objects. I have made a whole set of new work whilst in New York, buying even more day-glo, shiny, sparkly stuff to affix to my postcards. I posted these from New York, so they are a-winging their way to England, some how. Some have already arrived, so they will be appearing here soon.

Hvolsvöllur volcanic eruption

These are some drawings and ideas created in response to the volcanic eruption on Iceland in march 2010. They are deliberately playful and experimental. The full series can be seen on my website www.vickycull.com
